The Beginning..

Hello Hello!! Well this is a fun way to connect with friends, old and new, share my experiences and learn from others, and basically keep an awesome log of what these past months up and through the present are like.. soooooo ;)
I've been thinking alot about the different things already I've experienced that I would love to pass along, because there aren't enough 'know it all first mom's out there'.. I'm definitely no know it all, but I have gotten a big kick out of the most seemingly unhumorous topics (is that a word?) like... Drum roll please.... Hemorroids, public paranoia, sleep deprived rampant rage, holy hormones!, Sex?????, leaky boobies, moody blues and all sorts of 'Am I CRAZY?!!' Not to freak any one out.. Actually that is why I am writing this out.. To connect and hopefully continue to find that in fact I'm not crazy, but normal. And by the end of this, very well informed..
I can't wait to share and hear some very funny stories and pass along some equally useful tips to all you lovely Mama's, Papa's, Aunties, Friends, Cats, Dogs, well.. the whole darn gang!

Hi Kristin,
Well, it's wonderful you have joined the ranks of "numama's" as for those of us that experienced the "1st" baby, the surprses never cease!
Anyway, know that you are as normal as every new mom with all the thoughts, feelings, lack of feelings, irritation, frustration, crying episodes, rants and raves, and everything else in between.
This is a whole new experience for you and Marcos and you have to be open to what ever comes your way or strikes your fancy. You have such a darling, darling baby and she will and has brought you so much joy and laughter. But, there will also be days that are trying and days where you wish you could go back to the life you once had. Believe me, those are fleeting thoughts and normal thoughts and that is why we are left with memories to be able to go back to those places where life was really fun and we didn't have the complete responsibility of another human being.
But, after a while, that life came to an end and now you have a life the gives you new purpose and new meaning and it is a way for you to again, be all that you can be. Kristin, you are a wonderful Mother and wife and jot your thoughts down, journal if you like so that you can see how you "worked through" life's challenges and how you landed on your feet - YOU always do.
Love you,
Aunt Linda

Hi honey,
I think you are doing a wonderful job being a mom and wife. It isn't easy but it's the greatest joy there is next to being a grandparent. So, roll with the ups and downs and laugh alot and you'll look back on these early days with wisdom many years from now.

I love you and am very proud of you!!!!!

Love,

Mom
